Job Description
-Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
-Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
-Define edge cases and improve test cases coverage close to 95%
-Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
-Functional testing via grey-box and white-box methodologies
-Perform API interface testing, and API automation testing
-Plan and develop the methodology and approach for regression, base-line, comparison, benchmarking tests
-Define the test strategy to include designing, writing, and executing performance test cases and procedures
Qualifications
- Experienced as QA team member for at least 2 years.
- Exposure to QA automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium.
- Familiar with development t tools such as Postman to verify API request and response,
- Experienced in using MySQL/Mongo DB tools such as Phpmyadmin and MongoCompass to verify data is a plus
- Comfortable in accessing application logs in the Linux environment, and that means comfortable using various Linux shell commands.
- Have used Git version management tools.
- Have used Agile project tools like Clickup.
- Experienced in reviewing product specification documents, developing test cases and managing test cases as output of the product specification documents.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience in testing Android, iOS Mobile apps, Web portals and REST APIs
